It can’t end like this … Chipper has played through pain his entire career, and performed at a pretty high level nearly the entire time.  As a Mets fan, I hate him, but as a baseball fan, he’s a gamer, a guy you want in the fox hole with you, and a villain who played the heel well. If this is the end for Larry, it’s been a fun ride. Be well, old friend.
