It’s all about this chill bro today in SF. Cody Ross has hit four home runs in the last three games, and he’s going to have to keep going today, because the rest of the lineup is scrub-tastic. Ross hits Cole Hamels very well, hitting .300 with four home runs - the most any big leaguer has hit off Hamels. The only Giants besides Ross to have gone deep on Hamels are Aubrey Huff (five strikeouts in seven at-bats, one homer) and Pablo Sandoval, who was benched in favor of Edgar Renteria today. Buster Posey doubled twice in his one matchup with Hamels.
How did replacement center fielder Aaron Rowand, the gamer, do against Hamels? 3-for-15, with five strikeouts. In other words, swing hard, Cody Ross. Swing hard.

Cody Ross is kind of the Giants’ MVP right now. And look at what the Marlins were doing with him.
(shot is from this season) (seriously)
