    Farewell to Little O

Omar Vizquel, who made his major league debut on April 3, 1989 with the Seattle Mariners, played in the final game of his long and amazing career today, October 3, 2012, with the Toronto Blue Jays. Not only did Little O win nine consecutive Gold Gloves from 1993 to 2001 (eleven in all) and pass Babe Ruth on the all-time hit list with a career total 2,876 hits, he also performed this cover of “Broadway” by the Goo Goo Dolls back in 2005. Never forget!

Congratulations on a wonderful 24 years in the bigs!
