    Nineteen seasons with the Atlanta Braves. My entire career. And soon I will be Chipper Jones;  Retired Baseball Player. I’ve been privileged to play this game. I’ve been allowed to see and do things that most people never get the chance to do. I’m proud of what I accomplished. I have experienced, and learned from my, failures. I’ve produced in big games and delivered in memorable moments. I have been a champion. And through it all I have always been an Atlanta Brave. Yes the games are coming to an end, but I’m not done yet.  Nor is the 2012 Braves team. There is still work to be done and, maybe, one last lightning bolt left for all of us. Thank you for this great life and career that I have had. I am Larry Wayne ‘Chipper’ Jones.
